Raine Trading Ltd, trading as Impostor Watch, may contact a small number of people at incorporated businesses where a passive review of public domain information found something that appears relevant to that business's online brand.
What information we use and where it comes from
We use company and professional contact information from public sources such as Companies House, the business's own website, public DNS and domain-registration services, and public professional profiles. We record the source and collection date.
We do not buy contact lists, use personal email addresses, collect sensitive personal information for outreach, or use email open-tracking pixels.
Why we use it
Our lawful basis for using identifiable business-contact information is our legitimate interest in offering a relevant security service and the recipient business's interest in learning about a specific observable risk. We limit the data, use passive checks, require human approval and contact only incorporated companies and LLPs under this process.
How long we keep it
We normally delete unneeded contact details and scan evidence within 90 days of the final permitted message. We keep approval and send records for up to 12 months. If you object, we keep only the minimum suppression record needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Your right to object
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Reply to the message or email [email protected] and we will stop using your information for marketing.
You may also ask for access, correction or deletion of your information. Our main Privacy Policy gives the controller's identity, address and further rights information.
